Bone Growth Stimulators

Historically bone growth stimulator machines were used when bones were not healing and electrotherapy was applied to make the bones heal, or unionize.  Today it is becoming standard practice to use bone growth machines in routine bone fractures.   The reason is we want to decrease the time to heal, decrease chances of new injury and to save money by having less down time due to the fracture.
