   Franklin Fifty Mission Statement & Goals

 

                                                  
                                                   
Mission Statement

   

     The mission of the Franklin Fifty Association is to provide assistance to the athletic program that helps develop the whole person through education and competition, to stimulate a lasting attitude of discipline, sportsmanship, integrity, leadership, and social responsibility, to insure equal opportunity for all staff and student-athletes, and to make the athletic program an enduring source of pride for the student population, student-athletes, alumni, teachers, parents, and community.



Goals:

  • provide positive sportsmanship examples
  • provide support for the athletic program
  • help to build a fan base that attends all games

Membership Requirements:

  • Agree to donate 50 hours of time to the athletic program in one year or $50 – this time will be as set-up/tear-down help, ticket sales workers, scoreboard workers, transport students to/from games, crowd control, compile statistics for coaching staff, help provide refreshments for team use, on bench assistance with water, towels, first aid if needed, meet/greet athletic guests of FA, educational tutoring assistance if needed,  and other jobs to be decided.

Membership “Perks”:

  • Being involved with a WONDERFUL program of course
  • And maybe a T-Shirt!

Immediate Needs to be filled by FF for 2007-2008 season:

  • Scoreboard workers
  • Ticket Sales workers
  • Crowd Control personnel
  • Set-up/Tear-down help
  • Student Transport

Long Term Needs to be filled by FF (5-7 years out):

  • Defibrillator (would like to see this sooner!)
  • Fitness/Conditioning program specified to each athlete
  • Ice Machine
  • Training Supplies/training program
  • Staff Wellness program
